Numara FootPrints Mobile
The Numara FootPrints Mobile add-on module combines real-time, dynamic access to Numara FootPrints via a web browser on:
- Rim® Blackberry® 8700 series, 8300 series (Curve™), 8800 series (World Edition) and 9000 series (Bold) (Rim® Blackberry® 8100 and 8200 series (Pearl™) are not supported)
- Rim® Blackberry® 8700 series, 8300 series (Curve™), 8800 series (World Edition) and 9000 series (Bold) (Rim® Blackberry® 8100 and 8200 series (Pearl™) are not supported)
- Rim® Blackberry® 8700 series, 8300 series (Curve™), 8800 series (World Edition) and 9000 series (Bold) (Rim® Blackberry® 8100 and 8200 series (Pearl™) are not supported)
devices, with Numara FootPrints Sync functionality for calendar, task and contact synchronization. Numara FootPrints Mobile offers agents “service desk on the go™ ” from mobile devices like the iPhone, Blackberry, and Palm Treo running Windows Mobile. Agents can manage their assignments, search the knowledge base, and look up contacts right from the mobile browser.
Access to FootPrints via mobile is, just as with a full-size computer, via web browser.
Because of the size limitations of mobile devices versus full-size computers, the display on a mobile device is different and you should take a moment to familiarize yourself with what you are seeing.
The initial page of Numara FootPrints Mobile displays a set of links. These links will continue to be displayed at the bottom of the page on all pages:
Workspace Home - Displays the homepage. Users can click links to view Issue details or edit Issues from the homepage.
Search - Displays the FootPrints Quick Search. The Quick Search allows you to search on Keyword,
Title, or Number by choosing the corresponding radio button. For Keyword or Title,
enter the word or phrase that you want to search for in the box. If Number is chosen,
enter the Issue number in the box. To search for multiple Issue
numbers, enter each number separated by a comma i.e. 5,22,165.
Change Workspace - Displays a drop-down field in which you can select the workspace you want to view. Only workspaces to which you have access are displayed.
Create Issue - Opens the Create Issue page.
Select Contact - Search the Address Book for contacts and display those contacts in the Contact Information section of a Create Issue page.
Logout - Logs the user out of FootPrints
